First Day of Spring?

No, this isn't a picture from my archives of winter, this is what we get in unpredictable Oklahoma the first day of Spring! This blizzard is just starting up and there is much more to come. I hope my beautiful Spring Hyacinths and Tulips are sturdy and can make it until Tuesday when it will be 70 degrees again!

I didn't forget!

I didn't post Happy St. Patricks Day! but I didn't forget...I actually made a

huge pot of Potato and Leek soup. The weather here is starting to turn gorgeous and I have been letting the kitties outside to explore. (Highly supervised, of course). Saturday we are getting a late season snow storm, but Sunday will be in the 50's again.

I found a wonderful website that supports animals. I hope to have the link on my page soon. Animalrescuesociety.com

Oh yes, we have a feral Tuxedo cat living in our garage. Rick is trying to catch it before the Dalmatians do.

Happy and not so happy day....

First...Happy Birthday, Amber! She turns 21 years old today. I hope you are having a joyus celebration.

Second...I had to take my next door neighbor to Oklahoma City for chemotherapy. It was much more difficult than I expected it to be.

Hope all of you have a safe and wonderful Spring Break, and Katie, good luck on your finals! (Finish that paper!!!!)

New Elliptical and obligatory cute cat pic

The ortho told me never to run and that even long distance walking is not that good for my knee. She said to stick with bicycling, swimming, and the elliptical. So I got the new machine on Friday. I am also pleased to say that it is more environmentally friendly than the treadmill! No electricity, just mommy power! I tried it yesterday and just 15 minutes beat me up. This thing is much more difficult than it looks.
The other pic is LeeLoo who fell asleep on my foot. Hope you are all well,
mommy
